Slater is a great school. They offer a varied academic schedule as well as zero period for students wanting to take an extra elective. There are many clubs and after school sports and activities for the students. The principal and staff are great.

Great Lakes provides everything a parent could ever want for their child. The teachers are so dedicated and go above and beyond for their students every day. My kids LOVE going to school and they feel safe, supported and loved. I could not be happier with our experience!

The school has been welcoming from the beginning. The staff and families are very involved in the school. It has always felt like a second home for my children.

Extremely disappointed! We moved mid year to this school district. My kids are smart and in advanced classes at their old school. This school only offers math and reading AND they had alresdy learned what they were being taught. We can from a lower ranked school but they had learned math and reading skills a year or two earlier. Year in and my kids are still bored but gen teachers are not listening. My oldest has an IEP and they have not addressed this year…..I reached out to the teacher and never heard back. Also their how you pay for lunches NEVER works but they always seems to take they money. Not impressed the with attitudes of the teachers. So far have only met one we liked.

I just don't like school at all

As a grandmother, I have had the pleasure of watching my granddaughter thrive at Early Explorers Preschool, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the wonderful experience she is having there. From the moment we first stepped into the school, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff greeted us with smiles and made us feel like a part of the family, which immediately put my shy granddaughter at and me at ease. THe curriculum at Early Explorers is truly exceptional. It is designed to foster creativity, curiosity and a love for learning. I love seeing how the teachers incorporate play into their lessons, making learning both fun and engaging for the children. My granddaughter often comes home and is excited to share what she has done and learned whether it is about animals, nature, art, or even basic maths concepts. The hands-on activities and projects are not only educational bu also encourage her to express herself creatively, which is very important to us as a family.

Both my kids attend Noble Elementary and belong in the Parent Participation Program. We feel incredibly blessed to belong a part of the PPP program. The kids, parents, teacher and school create an amazing community through this program. We have gotten to know all the other families well, have active engagement and involvement with teachers and the classroom and the principal, Ms Ortiz is always available. There are so many opportunities to get involved and explore. Noble also participates in Science Olympiad and learn to compete with other nearby schools.

Both my children went to LOL until they graduated in 6th grade. I’m an educator and this school is the most wonderful place. They teach to the whole child, and both of them enjoyed their time there. At 16 and 19 I can honestly say I see their LOL years in each of them and it is the most beautiful thing.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had don't put your kids here the only thing the kids do is fight so not recommend

St Joseph's is a wonderful school. We enrolled our 8th grader this year. I wish we had found this school years ago. Every teacher is kind and caring. The students are very good kids and accepted our daughter right away. She is excelling in her studies and is happy to go to school, which is a blessing. Night and day difference from where she was previously. We highly recommend St. Joseph's School!

John Paul II Catholic School has been a part of our family for the past 11 years starting with my oldest son enrolling in kindergarten. We have grown to know John Paul II Catholic School as an irreplaceable part of our lives, the school and community within have provided guidance and support to my children in their catholic faith and education in limitless aspects. The parents who have now become known to us a fr-amily are essential in building a solid network of people for my children to thrive within, with like-minded goals, morals and catholic faith. In this giant city of ours John Paul II Catholic School is a welcoming and inclusive school community that once we crossed paths with has always felt as if we were always meant to be there.

My grandson started attending at the beginning of the 2024 school year. On the very first day he was bullied on the bus. After seeing the principal there was no resolution. Several times since then he was bullied again and again with the results being the same. No action was taken against the perpetrator of the action. Once again today, after being poked from behind in the neck by a bullie, he was suspended. Don't send your child to this school.

I've been here for so many years and it's gotten worse and worse. I have so many complaints about this school it's not good. They yell at little little kids especially tk-3 grade teachers. They have no shame about doing it either. They only clean busses and the school when it's time for a health inspection. They rarely do anything about bullying. They'll just reprimand the kid and let it go. They only care about money they never care about what the students want if they get money for it theyll do it. When testing season comes around it's so stressful. Most of the time the teachers don't know how to teach and then complain when we don't do good. It's not the best school they show it off as an amazing school but in reality it's horrible here. -a former student

Curtis Elementary is an amazing school to work at! It is a positive and safe environment where children can have fun while learning!
