My son and I experienced something terrible at this school. When I went to pick up my child at this school a year ago, my 5-year-old son was crying outside the classroom looking for his mother. My son left the classroom because the teacher told him that the mother was waiting outside. But there was no mother there, and my son was crying because he was scared. Evidence of this case still remains in my email. The teacher does not care for the child at all. And no one cared about the continuous violent incidents among the children for a year. Now my son is attending another school. He always tells me that Hankokpak was a terrible memory. Avoid this school if you want to protect your precious children.

Considering the fact this a a school where 4th graders can bring drugs and no one notices until they overdose, I think that speaks for itself.

The teachers and staff really love Christ and care about every child’s education and well being. This school has been a blessing for our family! All the kids are kind to one another .

The environment at this school is toxic and oppressive. The staff and administration are rude, dismissive, and clearly overworked. There's no encouragement for students to thrive or express themselves. It feels like a factory, not a school, where the focus is more on testing than actual learning. My child dreads going there every day

Achievement First Bushwick Middle School is a communication disaster. I can never get a response from anyone when I have concerns about my child's education or well-being. The teachers rarely provide feedback, and the principal is virtually unreachable. It's frustrating to be completely ignored as a parent. Avoid this school at all costs.

There's no clear structure, and my child has been failing for months because no one is actually teaching them anything of value. The so-called 'support' system is a joke, and it's clear that no one at this school truly cares about the students."

Our family has been part of Ryan Elementary School for the past three years, and we are immensely grateful for the wonderful staff, outstanding educational level, and supportive community. The school is inclusive, supports children with disabilities and special needs, and promotes a kind, empathetic environment. The dedicated staff and teachers, with years of experience, uphold impressive professional and ethical standards. The school's values align with what parents expect for their children. There's no bullying, and conflict resolution and socio-emotional support are prioritized. Highly recommend Ryan Elementary for any family.

My son entered Ryan 3 years ago. There we have found professional teachers with years of experience, who are empathetic and care about the students. They motivate them to be better (according to their interests) and support them both in the areas they need to improve and when their skills exceed expectations or they are talented. My son has English as a second language, and upon entering second grade at Ryan, he received support from a team of teachers, counselors, and tutors, who presented us with a concrete and realistic plan to help him progress. That support continued for 3 consecutive years, and today my son is bilingual, has joined the Gifted and Talented program, and is motivated and excited to learn and improve every day. The STEAM approach makes him curious and creative. Regarding the administration, there is constant communication. In case of any issues, there is always support and follow-up until it is resolved. Ryan is a small community, and we are happy to be a part of it.

they dont care about t no one they think there the best school they say we dont have bullys but when we say something about t they dont take care of it if i was you i wouldn't go there

Small school in a great community. They offer so much for k-4. Staff is wonderful

I was always drawn to Charter Schools and this school truly exceeded my expectations. We are in Q3 of Kindergarten and have taken our second i-Ready assessment and my son has made impressive improvement. I was very well taken care of and guided from the beginning of enrollment which is very important because as a parent I wanted the best school for my son from the start. HASCS is where we are going and will continue through K12 God willing. I highly recommend this school and if possible starting in grade K so your child can adapt quickly because the school requires your child to keep up with everyone else and of course have the support of their parents.

This school is not well suited for children with learning disabilities. They should hire younger teachers as most of the staff is elderly and only in it for a paycheck. The love of teaching is not the environment of the school. All they care about is having events and different fundraisers to raise money for the school and it looks like it’s in the 70’s. Nothing is updated on the inside.

It is very top school to learn , but if you want your kids grow up and have better life also after 4 years Hight school good to go for college.

I would HIGHLY recommend to keep your kids from this school for kids well being and your family piece of mind.
